"I hand-built the oven. Custom, but based on widely-available info. Simple, yet versatile. The dome is taller than in many pizza ovens, so it lends itself nicely to things like... baking bread! The thermal mass all around is of top-quality firebrick & high-heat mortar. This is all wrapped up in a super thick layer of hi-temp insulation. It efficiently absorbs, holds, and reflects heat from hardwoods cut and dried on site. " -Doug
